Continuing Education Credits:
Course Fee: $6,500 (Canadian) for a 5 DAY MINI-RESIDENCY. Includes 5 nights accommodation at the Ramada, Best Western or Westlock Inn, and Continental breakfast and lunch each day.
Valid Course Continuing Education Hours Documentation Provided: Eight (8) Continuing Education Credits Per Day.

Approved Continuing Education Provider:
The Implant Smile Center is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider
by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing dental education
programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship,
Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply
acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry. The current term of approval
extends from 1/1/2007 to 12/31/2010. Provider ID number (# 313765).

DENTISTS from the UNITED STATES: For dentists from the United States, who must
acquire specific COURSES, CREDENTIALS or CERTIFICATES to meet the requirements
for malpractice coverage, the Implant Smile Center will provide customized courses and
documentation to meet those requirements.

Dr. Leigh and his surgical team will teach you and your staff the art and science of exceptional implant surgery and prosthetics, allowing you to deliver more TREATMENT ALTERNATIVES to your patients.

           

CURRICULUM:

*    CASE TREATMENT PLANNING AND COMMUNICATION.
*    LIVE IMPLANT SURGERY DEMONSTRATIONS:
        -Surgical observation of our (or your) own patients.
        -Hands-on participation.
*    IMPLANT PROSTHETIC TECHNIQUES:
        -A comprehensive, simple, no nonsense approach to dental implant prosthetics.
        -Step-by-step procedures using implant component parts.
        -Transfer Impression and laboratory techniques.
        -Fabrication of both chair side and laboratory processed provisional restorations.
        -The case presentation Diagnostic Wax Up and surgical template fabrication.
*    IMPLANT PLACEMENT AND RESTORATION IN THE AESTHETIC ZONE.
*    HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS:
        -Our corporate and laboratory affiliates provide the materials for hands-on training sessions.
*    ONE-ON-ONE "CUSTOM TAILORED" IMPLANT SURGICAL TRAINING
      PROGRAMS:
        -Where you enhance your clinical skills to give your patients the option of a superior prosthesis,
         from single tooth restorations to full mouth rehabilitation.
        -Groups are limited in size to dentists and their auxiliary staff.
*    SINUS ELEVATION AND BONE GRAFTING TECHNIQUES.

           

*    INTRA-ORAL BONE HARVESTING PROCEDURES:
        -Monocortical block grafting from ramus and symphysis donor sites.
*    USE OF VARIOUS GRAFT MATERIALS, BARRIER MEMBRANES,
     OSTEOTOMES AND PERIOTOMES IN SURGICAL CASES.
*    RIDGE SPLITTING AND BONE EXPANSION.
*    DENTURE STABILIZATION WITH NUMEROUS IMPLANT RETENTIVE AND
     SUPPORTIVE DEVICES.
*    DEVELOPING MARKETING TECHNIQUES AND INCREASING CASE
     ACCEPTANCE OF IMPLANT DENTISTRY.
*    CLINICAL PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORD KEEPING.
*    IMPLANT / RESTORATIVE COMPLICATIONS PROBLEM SOLVING.
*    DENTAL AUXILIARY PROGRAMS:
        -Dental implant maintenance programs.
        -Sterile surgical set-up and implant instrumentation.
   
*    ONGOING STUDY CLUB:
        -"The Rocky Mountain Implant Smiles Study Group.®"  Investigating advancements in Dental Implants and Cosmetic Dentistry, for the benefit of practitioner and patient.
